NEW YORK | Mon Jan 23, 2012 9:46am EST (Reuters) - Stocks opened little changed on Monday after equities posted their best week in a month as the euro zone debt crisis and the economy showed signs of stabilizing. The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI slipped 4.47 points, or 0.04 percent, at 12,716.01. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX shed 0.14 points, or 0.01 percent, at 1,315.24.
